Life Membership Presentation Video
In the same week as we saw the passing of American sexologist Virginia Johnson (of Masters and Johnson fame) the sex therapy fraternity turned out in force to honour three of our own leaders in the area of sexual health.
Dr ROSIE KING, Dr MARTYN BAKER and Dr MICHAEL LOWY were being presented with Life Membership of ASSERT NSW on the 31st of July, in honour of the enormous contribution they have made to sex therapy and sexual health.
As young doctors in the 70s the trio were driving forces in the early days of ASSERT, which was launched 36 years ago. Speaking to a packed room they reminded us just how different those times were but also what enormous fun they had breaking down taboos and misinformation.
We filmed the presentation and here is a short 33 minutes version of the night.
